The Cat-Tail | Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a resolution for any issues with your order.

Our Commitment to You To maintain our boutique experience and reduce our carbon footprint, The Cat-Tail operates a "No-Return" resolution policy. If your order is eligible for a refund or replacement, we generally do not require you to mail the physical item back to us.

To be eligible for a resolution, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Request To start a request, please contact us at inquiry@cat-tail.design. Once your request is accepted, we will provide instructions on how we will resolve the issue. This usually involves a direct refund to your original payment method or a complimentary replacement sent to your door.

Important: Please do not send items back to the address on your shipping label. These are our fulfillment studios and are not equipped to process returns. Items sent back to these addresses without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. To help us make it right as quickly as possible, please include a photo of the item and the packaging in your email to inquiry@cat-tail.design.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items Certain types of items cannot be refunded, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) and sale items or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges Since we do not require physical returns, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to contact us regarding your current item. Once your request is processed, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. Please contact us at inquiry@cat-tail.design to initiate this process.

Refunds We will notify you once we’ve evaluated your request and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
